Should be fine. They will however pinch the line that goes from the gas tank to the canister. It's important that you have no leaks between the gas filler neck and the place of pinch. In my case they pinched the rubber hose that snakes over the driver side accordian hose. On Robo's site under cc delete this is the hose that runs through a protective mesh type cover. If I remember right the tech said they only pressurize it to a few psi but it has to hold pressure for a few minutes.
